What you will do

• Design intuitive user experiences for professional auditors conducting SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other gap assessments using our AI-powered platform

• Create rapid prototypes and interactive mockups that engineering can implement quickly, bridging the gap between design vision and technical implementation

• Design interfaces for AI-driven workflows, including how auditors interact with AI agents that collect evidence, analyze controls, and flag compliance gaps

• Build and maintain scalable design systems using Figma components, ensuring consistency across complex B2B workflows and data-heavy interfaces

• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to define user flows for sophisticated auditing processes and compliance automation

• Conduct user research with professional auditors to understand their workflows, pain points, and how AI can enhance their productivity

• Design data visualization and dashboard interfaces that help auditors quickly identify risks, track progress, and generate audit-ready reports

• Work independently with minimal oversight while staying aligned with product strategy and business goals

You should have

• 3-5 years of product design experience with a focus on B2B SaaS applications and complex professional workflows

• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing for data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, and enterprise software

• AI curiosity and hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools (Figma AI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar) in your design process

• Experience with Figma advanced features including components, design tokens, and developer handoff specifications

• Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics) to create feasible designs and rapid prototypes

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in an early-stage startup environment with minimal guidance

• Strong collaboration skills with experience working closely with engineering teams and product managers

• Portfolio showing end-to-end design process from user research through final implementation

• Experience designing for professional users who need efficiency, accuracy, and minimal learning curves

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing production-grade interfaces for AI/ML systems, chatbots, or intelligent automation tools

• Front-end development skills (React, Vue, or similar) with ability to build functional prototypes

• Background in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, compliance) or designing for auditors/analysts

• Experience with design systems at scale and contributing to open-source design libraries

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for users in low-bandwidth environments

• Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) or audit processes

• Previous startup experience with ability to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly to changing priorities
