Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-Tilted, Python)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship services and APIs in Python (FastAPI or similar)
• Spin up and secure cloud environments (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable) using IaC tools and AI coding copilots
• Own data pipelines, analytics dashboards, and QA automation as needed to unblock the team
• Add or refactor React/Next.js frontend components when product velocity demands it
• Pair with AI engineers to integrate LLM agents into customer-facing workflows
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to a blameless, metrics-driven culture

You should have

• 3 + years building production backends in Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django, or equivalent)
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL datastores and message queues
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot/Cursor/Claude Code, LlamaIndex, LangChain) in daily work or serious side projects
• Ability to launch and monitor services in a modern cloud stack (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalents)
• Working knowledge of frontend tech (TypeScript, React) and a willingness to learn by doing
• Startup mentality: ownership, bias for shipping, comfort wearing many hats

Nice-to-haves

• Prior work on compliance, security, or enterprise SaaS products
• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming data (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus)
